Explosion over Chelyabinsk
- I may be one of the few Canadians who has not heard of the meteorite fireball that exploded near the Russian city of Chelyabinsk in the Ural Mountains on February 15, 2013.
Massive meteorites wiped out Dinosaurs?
- Some experts theorize that the dinosaurs were wiped out by a massive meteorite explosion in the Cretaceous period, which, by the way, opened the door for mammals and eventually humanity to climb up the ladder of evolution.
- If you believe in evolution, which some do not, for reasons of their own and a quaint belief in creativity.

ReplyDeleteI foun d it interesting that so many videos were taken from various angles -- due to the Russian's new tendency to install car videos. Scientists throughout the world knew what had happened before the Russians were still trying to figure it out when the pressure wave hit them and caused injuries and damage. The pressure wave bounced back and forth around the earth many times... imagine! Good luck to our neighbors in Russia!
Thanks, Judi, I didn't know that information about the fireball or why so many amateur videos were available. I heard today there was another meteorite landed in Russia. Yes, good luck to our neighbors there. May they be safe and well.
