SPRING DIET TIPS

Change your diet for Spring

Spring is nature's awakening. Not only plants and baby lambs and rabbits, but our energy awakens. We sleep less and wake up earlier. The sun is over the yard arm much earlier.
Spring Diet Tips include agriculture in India
Spring is a time to change our diet.
Follow the seasons
  • Time to let the comfort foods of winter rest. Spring diet tips include eating food that's grown locally.
  • Cook food for a very short time. This way you'll get more nutrients from your diet and spend less time cooking and preparing your food.
  • Avoid refined and processed food, especially white sugar or high glycemic foods which lead to a spike in insulin and weight gain.

  • Spring is the best time to try cereal breakfasts, with fruit, for example, barley porridge with dry peaches.
  •  Eat green vegetables every day if possible. There are endless variations on salads. Add some olive oil or other high quality oil to the salad, and vinegar is tasty. A classic combination is oil and vinegar, used for thousands of years dating back from the Greeks and Persians.
  • All kinds of cheese are well combined with salad. Tuna, olives, sprouts, go well with salads.
  • Cottage cheese, whole grain breads, even soup.
