What you MIGHT NOT KNOW is that scientists are bringing back the concept of an ether through which electromagnetic waves travel through space. They debunked the theory in 1887 and stated that space was "empty." They've discovered since that space is not empty. 

What will the "experts" come up with next? NASA continues to amaze us with the Mars Rover and more, the stuff of Buck Rogers and H.G. Wells of my youth.
