The zombie within can be very useful, Kenna. The day-to-day drek doesn't need as much attention as we give it most of the time.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I have to be careful what "deep" things I devote true thought to...that way can lay madness--or at least depression or an anxiety attack.
Some things don't merit too much thought if you want to continue functioning.
Sue, that is a very useful observation. I think habit accounts for much of the free time we have, such that we don't have to search for our keys every time we put them down...or do we? LOL we may not make as much use of the Zombie as we should. And deep thought? Only on occasion, my FIL used to say when I said "Well," that is a deep subject. Maybe to some people that's as deep as it gets!
